RIP Randy Anderson
Randy Anderson, a former referee in the old WCW, has passed away.
I used to see him all the time on WCW Worldwide back in the day, before Nitro and the nWo and all of that, back when Big Van Vader was still there and cut an interview every week saying ‘Shtiiing!’ or ‘Shtinger!’ at least once.
I’d see Anderson in the wrestling magazines after WCW went off the air here; him and Nick Patrick were their two top refs. I’d wondered what happened to him when then Vince McMahon bought WCW, I’d always assumed he’d just be around.
