Sorry Mr. Pollard

I’ve toyed with the idea of going to see Guided By Voices live, a couple of weeks from now. But they’re playing the Ambassadump. And I can just imagine the hordes of music geeks and poseurs who’ll be there, just to be there.

I mean, I’m a music geek, but I’m not like them; I don’t listen to stuff ‘cause it’s cool, I listen to stuff ‘cause I like it.

Sorry Mr. Pollard, but I think I’ll pass.
