By day I’m an editor for a Fortune 100 tech/media client with Welocalize (more here), with regular work as a digital editor in the evenings. Around this I have some availability for freelance projects — my services include writing, editing, copywriting, proofreading and project consulting.

I have more than 15 years’ experience in media, in particular editing for both print and digital. And my background as an editor has made me a better writer, too — whether it’s straight news, features or copywriting, short- or long-form. Whatever you require, I will give you clean copy that fits your brief.
As a writer and editor I have a broad base of experience in news and features: subediting/copy editing on the Belfast Telegraph and Sunday Life; working on multicultural stories as subeditor and page designer at Metro Éireann; and covering all things marine, as a digital content editor/contributor with Afloat.ie, Ireland’s sailing, boating and maritime magazine.
I’ve also written about movies, music and popular culture, with reviews and features for the likes of Bandcamp Daily, the Bridgehead Media Blog, Burning Ambulance and Thumped.
Besides that, I have worked with Bridgehead Media as a copywriter for a major online music retailer, and as proofreader on a content project for a leading digital marketing agency.
